Hailey’s 10+ year career in the tourism industry has been fueled by a passion to think critically and sustainably about destinations. She leverages her expertise in mixed-methods research, project management, and public communication to bring community perspectives into focus. Her skills are instrumental in identifying and aligning strategic destination growth opportunities with the needs and aspirations of the community.

She holds a Master’s of Science degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management from NC State University and a B.A. in Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality from UNC-Greensboro. Hailey is a dedicated member of Travel and Tourism Research Association and was selected as a member of Destinations International’s 2024 “30 under 30” class.
